CHICAGO, IL - JULY 16: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. will be crowned an African Chief by His Royal Highness King Nyaho Tamakloe, VI for his leadership in global African affairs. Tamakloe holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as a diploma in Education and Sociology. He also served as a former Edmonton-Canada Police Commissioner. He is one of the three Head Kings who rules the The Kingdom is one of the only three ancient Kingdoms that existed long before Ghana was formed. His Royal Highness Tamakloe has received several leadership awards like the National Honors Award, Achievers of Ghana Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Saturday’s event is hosted by N.Sena Amenyo, founder of The Progressive Minds Show. “This event will be a cultural explosion complete with African Diaspora Cuisines, African traditions, dance performances, music, and fashion. “This year, The Exchange Ceremony proudly honors Rev. Jackson as an African Chief for his legacy of leadership in the black community. He, along with other Chicago notables will be honored,” said Amenyo. Rev. Jackson, who is loved and respected by Africans locally and globally, was appointed by former President Bill Clinton as Special Envoy for the President and the Secretary of State for the Promotion of Democracy in Africa in October of 1997. Rev. Jackson continues to champion their causes. Dr. Ewa Ewa, and Olivier Kamanzi, two Chicago African Activists/Businessmen, thanked Rev. Jackson for always being there for African concerns. Also present will be Dr. Bishop Jessica Mbangeni, from the lineage of former South African President Nelson Mandela, Nana Kwame BAYIN Okusteaku VIII Mfanstefohen of Chicago who is also the Gyasehen of Ampia Ajumako in the Central Region Ghana, and Her Royal Highness Queen Bmazaahi-Karu, first Haitian American Queen. Those being honored are: Dr. Deon Lopez, Angie Mims, Revin Fellows, Domynique Thompson Smith; Afrika Porter; Dr. Ewa Ewa; Fatima Traore and Paa Kwame Sam. The special guests will be Dr. Bishop Jessica Mbangeni, the custodian of African heritage, Illinois Rep. La Shawn Ford, former Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court Dorothy Brown, outgoing Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White; Ald. He is one of the three Head Kings who rules the The Kingdom is one of the only three ancient Kingdoms that existed long before Ghana was formed. His Royal Highness Tamakloe has received several leadership awards like the National Honors Award, Achievers of Ghana Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
